Background:

The English Foxhound is a classic pack hound, happiest in the company of other dogs.  This breed has its origins in England with hounds and terriers used in its development.  It is not a very popular or widespread breed as it is primarily a hunting dog and is does not do well as a single pet.

Personality:

An energetic hunter with boundless energy, they are clearly pack dogs and do not do well when alone.  They are not suited for apartment life or city life.
