Background:

The Harrier is another pack hound bred to hunt hare and other small animals by scent.  It has amazing stamina and can literally run its quarry till they drop down in exhaustion.  Its ancestry is very similar to that of the English Foxhound, with a mixture of hound and some terrier blood.

Personality:

A lively dog with a cheerful disposition, the Harrier is best suited for a country life chasing the occasional rabbit and playing with its companions.  It does not make a good apartment dog.
