Membership Rules:

The purpose of our Breeder/Kennel Section is to provide the public with information about you, your services, your kennel and breeding program, the availability of puppies or adult dogs, or stud service, from conscientious breeders who commit to follow the ethical breeding practices for that breed.

If your breed is one in which genetic problems are known, we strongly encourage testing your stock for such problems before breeding them.   We expect that you will be totally truthful about any testing done on your stock and that you commit to not using inappropriate dogs in your breeding program.

Most breeders are active in Breed Clubs or Kennel Clubs and/or participate in competition of Championship Shows or Obedience Trials, Field Trials or some other related activity.   We also recognize that there are responsible breeders who do not participate in those activities and therefore participation is not a condition of being accepted for our web site.   

We strongly encourage that all breeders offer health guarantees with their puppies or adults sold, and that all sales and guarantees are by written contracts, dated, and signed by both buyer and breeder clearly stating the terms of the sale.

If you have an email address, we will provide a link so people may email you directly from your page(s) on our site.  If you already have a website, we will be happy to include a link to your site from you web page on our site.

You may update event based information on your site at any time.  Events may include sale of a dog listed on your site, arrival of a new litter etc.  Petcave.Com will endeavor to publish such changes as expediently as possible.  But please note that as Petcave.Com is a totally voluntary website, the update will be published on a first come, first served basis.  In other words, it may take some time.  Petcave.Com makes no commitments as to the time frame due to the nature of our operation.  

Please note that advertising may appear on your pages hosted on Petcave.Com as this is how we are able to give you all this for free. 

We will never publish asking or sale prices of puppies, or adults, ever.  Period.

Removal of Listing:

We will not knowingly accept or renew any listing, from any breeders or individuals currently not in good standing with either the AKC or any other recognized Kennel Club registry, for any reason whatsoever, or who have ever been convicted of fraud or cruelty to animals.   If it is brought to our attention that any person listed on Petcave.Com has misrepresented facts, it will be deemed a breach of contract with Petcave.Com and a valid reason for immediate cancellation and removal of the listing.

All individuals and kennels listed on Petcave.Com must warrant that for the duration of your listing with Petcave.Com, you will not sell puppies to commercial dealers, pet stores or any similar distribution source for commercial exploitation.  Any violation of this policy will result in immediate removal of your listing and web pages from our web site..

Any materially misleading or false statements willfully made will be grounds for immediate removal of your listing from Petcave.Com
