Background:

The Sealyham Terrier was originally bred in Wales.  Recognized by the AKC in 1911, the Sealyham Terrier has not yet become a widespread breed.  Originally bred to go to hunt fox, badger and other small game, this breed is more popular as a companion dog in recent times.

Personality:

Sometimes called a 'people dog', the Sealyham craves a lot of human contact.  Nothing makes this dog happier than to lie at the feet of its master and get a good massage!  With its even temperament and gentle disposition, this dog makes an ideal pet both in the apartment and in the country house.
