there are msny breeds you can own if you have a family may i reccomend weaton terriors (shouldnt really be in the terrier group) are wonderful family dogs but pretty much anything with long hail is usuly shead less odor less and wont bother your family for example anything from a standard poodle to an afghan hound is safe. look at weatons though try soft coated weaton terrior web site try weates the wait is \long but they are wonderful dogs i have shown dogs for many years give me a call at 512 328 0191 ask for christy i love to help people
