About Us:

Sandra is a Championship Show Judge and judges all hounds at Open Shows. Margaret judges at Open shows and is assistant Secretary of the South West Hound Club.

The Barrenger Basset Hounds were founded in 1968. There are 14 hounds at present, ranging from Ch/ Ir Ch Barrenger Demon King (age 12) and his great grandchildren. They live on the beautiful Somerset Levels in England. Four champions have emerged from these kennels, including Ch Barrenger Gulliver Travels who was top Basset Hound in the UK in 1999.
