Blumont Dobermans

About Us:

I have been in love with Dobermans since I met my sister-in-laws family pet more years ago than I want to admit. My first love in obedience, but I enjoy other dogsports and conformation too. Temperment, trainability, health, soundness and longivity are very important to me. My dogs are my family and live at home with me.

The kennel name comes from a combination of the Blue Ridge Moutains of NC where I lived when I first became interested in Dobes, and part of the registered name of my foundation bitch who was Named D'Aker's Lady Montague. She was pointed and achieved her UD and was my beloved companion. I ended up not continuing her line because she developed health problems, but the kennel name is my tribute to her, and to the Mountains that I love.
